November 9 to December 7, 2020 – WREATH SALE – Blue Ridge Partnership for Children is holding a Wreath Sale to raise money to support the Imagination Library; you can purchase a Locally Made, Fraser Fir Wreath for $25, plain, or $30, with a bow. November 28, 2020 – 2 pm to 4 pm – The Blue Ridge Partnership for Children will hold a drive thru Letters to Santa even at the Church of Jesus Christ in Newland. The SCOTTIE Mobile Pre-K (click for information) is out and about and if you have a child who would be eligible for the classes but are unable to attend Pre-K, this is a service of the Avery Public School System and Smart Start.
