Based on recommendation of the Avery County Health Dept. the Benfield Family has cancelled the Annual Wayne Benfield Memorial Singing due to COVID-19. The family is looking forward to continuing the Memorial next year.

The SCOTTIE Mobile Pre-K (click for information) is out and about and if you have a child who would be eligible for the classes but are unable to attend Pre-K, this is a service of the Avery Public School System and Smart Start.
